At Geo-Con, we’re committed to supporting the organisations that help strengthen New Zealand’s civil engineering and construction industries. That’s why we’re proud to be involved with the Civil Engineering Testing Association of New Zealand (CETANZ).

Established in 2007, CETANZ brings together civil engineering testing professionals from across New Zealand to promote best practice, encourage technical excellence, and improve the quality and consistency of testing throughout the industry. Working alongside Engineering New Zealand, the association supports members through technical guidance, professional development, nationally recognised qualifications, networking opportunities, and industry proficiency testing.

CETANZ also plays an important role in representing the interests of testing professionals, contributing to the development of industry standards and regulations across disciplines including soils, aggregates, asphalt, pavements, and cone penetration testing (CPT).

We’re especially proud that our National Sales Manager, Marko Petrovic, serves on the CETANZ Committee. In addition to his committee responsibilities, Marko contributes to the Pavements Working Group, Asphalt Working Group, and manages the association’s LinkedIn presence, helping support communication and collaboration across the industry.

At Geo-Con, we believe that active participation in organisations like CETANZ helps us stay connected with industry developments, better understand the challenges faced by testing laboratories, and continue providing our customers with the knowledge, support, and equipment they need to achieve the highest testing standards and ultimately better outcomes for New Zealand infrastructure assets.
