Description
The CONTROLS Standard Vicat Apparatus consists essentially of a metal stand with a sliding rod. An adjustable indicator moves over a graduated scale. The needle or plunger is attached to the bottom end of the rod to make up the test weight of 300 g.
This apparatus is used to determine the normal consistency of cement in accordance AS 2350.3.
The test set is supplied complete with 6x initial/final needles, consistency plunger, glass plate, glass thermometer, and plastic mould.
1mm square needles (stainless steel) to AS2350.3 and individual spare parts are available as accessories.
ASTM test sets are also available.
